Two nurses suffered injuries after they jumped out of a speeding car to escape kidnap by a taxi driver who apparently had intended to rape them, the Saudi Arabic language Okaz reported on Tuesday.
The driver picked the two nurses near a hospital in the central town of Madina and headed outside the city towards a deserted area, it said.
“They told police they opened the door and jumped out of the car…they suffered from fractures and bruises because of the jump,” the paper said.
Residents who saw the car gave its number to the police, who have mounted a manhunt for the driver, it added. Emirates 24|7
