WASHINGTON, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- The White House kicks off "Startup America," a national campaign built around the theme of building the future, the daily agenda for Monday said.
In his State of the Union Tuesday, President Obama laid out his vision to "out-innovate, out-educate, and out-build the rest of the world" to win the future. "Startup America" follows up by promoting high-growth entrepreneurship across the country, the daily agenda said.
Participants in the kickoff include Commerce Secretary Gary Locke, Energy Secretary Steven Chu, Small Business Administration Administrator Karen Mills, National Economic Council Director Gene Sperling, Economic Advisers Council Chairman Austan Goolsbee and a number of America's top entrepreneurs, the agenda indicated.
Obama also will receive the daily briefings and meet with senior advisers. UPI
