An Alberta RCMP constable appeared briefly in court Monday morning, charged with the second-degree murder of his wife who was found dead in their southeast Edmonton home on the weekend.
The appearance lasted less than a minute for Tirth Sehmbi, 36, who came into the courtroom in leg shackles.
He was unshaven, and appeared confused.
