Canada’s former top soldier in Afghanistan has been charged with criminal and military offences in relation to allegations of an intimate relationship with a member of his staff.
Brigadier-General Daniel Ménard is facing one charge of obstructing justice. He also faces two military counts of “conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline” and one military chrage related to the obstruction of justice charge.
In addition, Master-Corporal Bianka Langlois has been charged with conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline.
