NATO-led, Afghan troops kill key Taliban commanders


(CNN) -- A Taliban commander responsible for bringing foreign fighters from Iran into Afghanistan was killed by local and international troops, NATO's International Security Assistance Force said on Friday.
The incident took place during a raid on an insurgent training camp on Thursday in Farah province, in the west, the NATO-led force said.
The Taliban leader was identified as Mullah Akhtar.
