One man died and two were stabbed in a mass brawl in downtown Moscow early on Saturday, Russian police said.
"The brawl started between three natives of Grozny [capital of Russian North Caucasus republic of Chechnya] and three Muscovites, born in 1987 and 1988, at about 01:30 Moscow time Saturday [21:30 GMT Friday] on Chistoprudny Boulevard," a police spokesman said.
He added that one Muscovite died and the two injured Moscow residents were hospitalized with stab wounds.
The suspects have been detained. An investigation is underway.
