ATLANTA, Aug. 23 (UPI) -- Offensive lineman Quinn Ojinnaka was traded Monday by the Atlanta Falcons to the New England Patriots.
Ojinnaka, 6-foot-5 and 299 pounds, started the last five games of last season at right guard in place of the injured Harvey Dahl. He appeared in 39 games over four seasons with Atlanta.
In June, Ojinnaka was arrested in an alleged domestic dispute. He was later suspended for one game by the NFL for violations of the league's Personal Conduct Policy.
He will miss the Patriots' regular-season opener Sept. 12 versus Cincinnati in Foxborough, Mass., but is eligible to take part in practices and pre-season games. UPI
