LOS ANGELES, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- James Loney and Scott Podsednik both drove in two runs in support of Clayton Kershaw's solid start Tuesday in the Los Angeles Dodgers' 6-0 win over Colorado.

Kershaw (11-7) clamped down on the Rockies, yielding five hits and six strikeouts over seven innings and the Dodgers broke a two-game skid.

Jhoulys Chacin (5-9), returning to the Rockies from a stint at Class AAA Colorado Springs, was roughed up for five runs on five hits and five walks over five innings.

Eric Young and Dexter Fowler each had two of Colorado's six hits. UPI
