Crude oil wavers around $75 per barrel

NEW YORK, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Crude oil in New York traded in a narrow band overnight, wavering on both sides of $75 per barrel.

Prices for October delivery light, sweet crude oil recently trended lower to $74.88 per barrel after hitting an overnight peak of $75.27 on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Heating oil prices shed 0.0017 cents to $2.08 per gallon. Reformulated gasoline prices added 0.0001 cents $1.9395 per gallon.

Henry Hub natural gas prices dropped 0.024 cents to $3.79 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline was $2.683 per gallon Thursday, up from Wednesday's $2.68, AAA said.
