DTN, 24, worker, sent by email a forged export certificate to Darkhan Kakitai, who taught him English language prior to coming to Dubai.
The accused had also sent his teacher pictures of three Toyota Lexus vehicles, who then agreed to buy them for $70,000.
DTN gave his teacher two bank accounts with the names of two people to send the money to.
As he received the Ducamz export certificate, the teacher transferred $26,750 to the accounts he was given.
When he didn’t receive the vehicle, the teacher came to Dubai and enquired with Zishan car company, whose name was on the export certificate.
The victim found that the certificate was forged and it had a chasses number of another car, so he logged a complaint with police.
