Pilots probed over Su-27 crash in Russian Far East

An investigation has been opened into the cause of a Sukhoi Su-27 military aircraft crash in the Russian Far East on Monday, a representative of the local investigative department said.
The two Russian Air force pilots, who survived after ejecting themselves from the aircraft before the crash, may face up to seven years imprisonment for violation of flight rules, the representative said.
The flight was the aircraft's first test run after undergoing repair work.
