ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- Another oil tanker carrying fuel for NATO troops in Afghanistan was attacked near the border with Pakistan Tuesday, local authorities said.
A Khyber Agency official told CNN a bomb planted on the tanker exploded, partially damaging the vehicle but not setting it on fire.
No casualties were reported, the official said.
The tanker was parked at the closed Torkam Gate, one of two main ports of entry for material going from Pakistan into the Afghan war zone.
The crossing was closed last week after three Pakistani soldiers were killed in a helicopter crash.
Islamabad has not yet said when Torkam Gate will be reopened, the BBC reported.
