CASPER, Wyo., Dec. 25 (UPI) -- A snowboarder and a 5-year-old girl were killed, and her mother was injured, when he slammed into them on a ski run at a Wyoming resort, authorities said.
Sheriff's Lt. Mark Sellers said Saturday the accident occurred about 2:30 p.m. Friday at Hogadon Ski Area on Casper Mountain, the Casper Star-Tribune reported.
The 22-year-old Casper man and girl were pronounced dead at an area hospital, while the mother was hospitalized. Her condition wasn't available.
The victims' names hadn't been released.
Authorities said the snowboarder was going down a black-diamond run called Dreadnaught when he struck the mother and daughter, who had stopped. UPI
