Boy found dead in bath on Christmas Day

Police in east London have launched an investigation into the death of a 15-year-old boy discovered in a bath on Christmas Day.
The teenager was found badly injured and apparently drowned at a property in Newham, east London. A 27-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman have been arrested.
Police were called by London Ambulance Service to the property in Hathaway Crescent at 12.15pm yesterday following reports of a drowning.
Officers found the boy in the bath with "a number of injuries" and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin were aware, Scotland Yard said.
The death is being treated as suspicious and a postmortem examination is being arranged.
Members of the Met's Homicide and Serious Crime Command are investigating.
The two people arrested are in custody at separate police stations in east London. The Guardian
